Dukhi Attorneys Inc. has two directors and is managed by Ryan Dukhi. Herewith a synopsis of the two directors.
Ryan Dukhi holds a LLB degree from the Managing Executive University of Natal and a LLM degree from the
University of South Africa. The masters’ degree is in the field of commercial law.
Ryan started practice with the firm, GH Ismail & Associates in the year 2000 and
thereafter joined the firm, Atkinson Turner & de Wet in the year 2002. During the said
years in practice, Ryan specialized in all civil litigation matters and various
commercial and corporate law matters.
Ryan thereafter joined the Newlyn Group, a property investment, development and letting
company, as its Chief Legal Advisor and latter become the group’s Managing Executive.
Ryan’s exposure to the practice of various areas of law and the corporate environment
makes the firm well suited to handle most civil, corporate and commercial matters.
Desree Dukhi Holds a BSc degree from the University of Natal and a LLB degree from the University of South Africa. She is currently
registered for her Masters in Private Law. Desree did her articles at Dukhi Attorneys
Inc for 3 years and has gained immense practical experience and is now well informed
in the field of commercial law.
Desree hails from a chemical background and was a strategic sourcing manager of an
international chemical company, Buckman Africa. She played an important role in
negotiating contracts and drafting agreements. She had a wealth of knowledge about
the commercial world before pursuing a career in law. She will undeniably be an asset
to the firm and her connectivity and vast network will undoubtedly attract a good set
of clients.
Desree is very passionate about the law and this is evident in that she is currently
doing her Masters in Private Law. This type of passion and commitment will boost the
confidence that clients have already have in our firm.
